The movie is expected to earn roughly Rs 17 crore on Friday, breaking the Rs 300 crore barrier in the domestic market in just eight days, according to the industry tracker.

The historical action drama also had a 35.06 percent overall Hindi occupancy on Thursday.

As the day went on, the percentages rapidly increased, reaching 29.20% for afternoon shows, 41.77% for evening shows, and 53.09% for night shows. In the Hindi market, the movie had a morning occupancy of 16.17%. The movie will have another successful weekend at the box office because there are no major releases on Friday.

Even though the movie has only been in theaters for one week, it has surpassed Pathaan to become the year's second-highest domestic grosser. Gadar 2 has already surpassed the 242.20 crore rupee lifetime earnings of The Kerala Story.
