Jonas Brothers Release New Album The Album And Announce US Tour

The Jonas Brothers are still chasing butterflies after two decades in the limelight.

Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas will release their sixth studio album "The Album" on Friday, followed by a U.S. tour in August. Nick claims that the brothers are placing themselves in unfamiliar situations so that they might feel "butterflies and excitement" before taking the stage.

One of those butterflies will occur when the group begins off their tour on August 12 at Yankee Stadium.

"It's been our favourite baseball team's stadium for our entire lives," Nick explains. "About a month ago, we got to go to a game and meet some of the players." And we were just gazing around, thinking that the 10-year-old version of us sitting in the highest nosebleed section seat in the house wouldn't believe we were going to perform here twice."

Joe claims that because all three band members now have young children, the brothers are "quicker to return home" after travelling. But that doesn't mean they're not looking forward to getting on the road.

"We're treating this like it's our best tour yet." "And I believe we intend to make that experience available to fans as well," Joe continues.

They're also excited to spend time together as brothers, with Nick stating that touring "doesn't feel like work."

The tour will cover the United States from mid-August through October, with the group taking great care to prevent fatigue. Joe feels that the band's physical and emotional health is a priority, and that they can look after themselves while having "a blast while doing it."

"We've been burnt out before, and then you're like, 'I've still got 20 more shows on this tour,'" he adds. "So we all have our own perspectives on how to go about it, and we just make sure that that's prioritised and that the three of us are communicating as well as we possibly can."

After the release and promotion of "The Album," the brothers will take a break before embarking on a tour in August.
