Actor And Filmmaker Manobala Passes Away At 69 In Chennai

Manobala began his film career as an assistant director on Bharathiraja's Puthiya Vaarpugal in 1979. He also had a minor role in the film. With the 1982 Tamil film Aagaya Gangai, he made his directorial debut. He also directed Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai, a Hindi film starring Jeetendra. Pillai Nila, Sirai Parvai, and Oorkavalan are among his other directorial efforts. His most recent project as a filmmaker was the 2002 Tamil film Naina.

He has worked as an actor for the past two decades. He has appeared in over 200 films and was most known for his humorous character parts. His most recent film performance was in Ghosty, a Tamil horror comedy directed by Kajal Aggarwal.
