Millie Bobby Brown announces she's engaged to Jake Bongiovi

Actress Millie Bobby Brown recently made the announcement that she and her partner of 2.5 years, Jake Bongiovi, are engaged.

I've loved you for three summers now, honey; I want them all, the Stranger Things star, 19, said beside a photo of herself and Bongiovi.

On her finger was an engagement ring, and Brown finished her post with a white love heart emoji.

The 20-year-old actor Bongiovi is also the prodigal son of the late musician Jon Bon Jovi.

One of the celebrities who left a comment on Brown's post was singer Pixie Lott, who wrote, "OMG!" You two deserve congratulations, and I'm so happy for you.

Along with two images of the newlyweds, Bongiovi just wrote "forever" on his own page to announce the news.

Taylor Swift's song Lover, which is off her seventh studio album of the same name, is mentioned in Brown's comment.

The news comes after weeks of rumours on social media that the couple had gotten engaged.

Brown shared a snapshot of Bongiovi on Instagram in June 2021 to introduce him to her followers. Later, the couple declared their relationship.

In a subsequent Instagram post from January, Brown referred to Bongiovi as her "partner for life" and shared a number of images of the pair.

The wildly popular Netflix series Stranger Things, which will conclude with its upcoming fifth season, is where the English actress first gained notoriety as a child star.

However, a Stranger Things prequel is scheduled to be performed in London's West End, and Netflix has also confirmed an animated TV series.

Recently, Bongiovi was cast in the upcoming coming-of-age movie Rockbottom, which is his second significant acting role.
