Fans of the Miami Dolphins have three more seasons to enjoy the cheetah.
Tyreek Hill stated he's aiming to retire at the end of his current contract with the Dolphins, then it's on to something else. Hill made the remarks on Wednesday during a radio appearance with Sports Radio 810 WHB.
Hill's tenth season in the league would be his final, according to him.
"I'm going for ten, man," said Hill, who will be 31 years old in 2025. "I'm going to finish this contract with the Dolphins and then call it quits." I want to start my own business. "There are so many things I want to do in my life, bro."
Hill signed a four-year, $120 million contract deal with the Dolphins after being acquired in a trade in March 2022. According to Spotrac, he is the highest-paid receiver in the NFL in terms of annual average value.
"So, like, I really want to get into the gaming space," Hill explained. "I really want to get big in that, and that's what I'm working on right now." I'm using my platform to develop a gaming team that hasn't yet gone live. It should be available before the end of this month. I'm merely going to sign different content creators and sportsmen. I've just been working on it, talking to various sponsors."
Hill also sent a message for Chiefs supporters, who will see Hill and the Dolphins play in Kansas City during the 2023 season. The opponents' schedules have been announced, but not the week-to-week schedules. Prior to the move, Hill spent six seasons with the Chiefs, including a Super Bowl ring.
"Chiefs Kingdom, guess what we're going to do when the Miami Dolphins visit Arrowhead Stadium this year?" Hill stated. "Can you guess what we're going to do?" I'm sorry to say it, guy. I hate to wave the peace sign to you all. I despise doing it! However, guess what? That day, I'm going to be your worst adversary. That day, I'm going to be your deadliest enemy."
Hill led the NFL with 119 receptions and 1,710 yards in 2022 for the Dolphins, earning his fourth All-Pro nod and eighth Pro Bowl selection. He had seven touchdown receptions, giving him 63 for his career.
