Despite missing US tournaments last month due to a lack of a Covid vaccination, Novak Djokovic reclaimed the top position in the ATP rankings released Monday.
After Djokovic's triumph in Indian Wells, Carlos Alcaraz took the top spot, but the Spaniard bowed out of the Miami Open semi-finals on Friday, allowing the Serb to return to No. 1 for a record 380th week. Djokovic leads Alcaraz by 380 points, with Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas in third, more than 1,000 points behind the leaders.
