Lainey Wilson started the night off with four nominations, the most before the award ceremony. The CMT Music Awards honour the finest country music videos! On Sunday night, Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini will co-host the award ceremony, which will recognise country artists for their music and music videos! This year, Lainey Wilson topped the pack with four nominations: video of the year, female video of the year, collaborative video of the year, and CMT performance of the year.
Brown, Cody Johnson, and first-time candidate Jelly Roll are close behind with three each. Meanwhile, 16 acts were nominated for the coveted video of the year honor, but only Brown and his wife Katelyn, Hardy and Wilson, and Carrie Underwood advanced to the finals.
