Taylor Swift Announces The Release Of Four New Tracks This Friday In Honor Of The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift's "Midnights" phase is far from over. On Thursday, the "Anti-Hero" singer announced on Instagram that "in honour of the Eras Tour," she will release four previously unheard tracks. They're due to make their debut at midnight.

"Eyes Wide (Taylor's Version)," "Safe & Sound (Taylor's Version)" with Joy William and John Boy Music, "If This Was a Movie (Taylor's Version)," and "All of the Ladies You Loved Before" will be among the tracks.

Three of Swift's four new songs appear to be rerecordings, since they carry the "(Taylor's Version)" tag in the titles.

Swift's former company, Big Machine, sold her music catalog's master recordings in 2019, forcing the artist to record fresh versions of her earlier albums. Swift released "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" and "Red (Taylor's Version)" in 2021.

The song "If This Was a Movie" first appeared on a deluxe edition of Swift's 2010 album "Speak Now." Swifties have theorised that "Speak Now" is the next rerecorded album she wants to release because she is known for inserting an abundance of Easter eggs in her songs, videos, and social media.

Swift has not stated which remastered album she intends to release next.

"Eyes Wide" is a song from the soundtrack of the 2012 film "The Hunger Games," "Hunger Games: Music from District 12 and Beyond." The song, along with "Safe & Sound," was not initially included in the film but is included on the soundtrack.

According to Variety, "All of the Ladies You Loved Before" is an unreleased tune that was produced during Swift's "Lovers" phase in 2019.

Swift's long-awaited Eras Tour will take out on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona, and will be her first tour in five years.
