With this victory, "RRR" becomes the first Indian feature film to get an Oscar. India, it's time to go "Naatu Naatu"! By becoming the first Indian feature film to win an Oscar, SS Rajamouli's RRR made history. The music to the movie, "Naatu Naatu," by MM Keeravani, won the Best Original Song Award at the 95th Academy Awards, which are now taking place in Los Angeles, California.

'Applause' from Tell It Like a Woman, 'Hold My Hand' from Top Gun: Maverick, 'Lift Me Up' from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and 'This is Life' from Everything, Everywhere, All At Once were the songs that the song competed against.

The honour was accepted by lyricist Chandrabose and composer Keeravani. Keeravani gave his acceptance speech in the form of a Carpenters song that had been modified.

"I listened to The Carpenters while growing up, and here I am at the Oscars. As was the case with Rajamouli and our families, I had only one wish in mind: "'RRR' has to win... Pride of every Indian... must place me on top of the globe," Keeravani added, singing along to The Carpenters' Top of the World from the 1970s.

Naatu Naatu becomes the first song from an Indian film to win an Oscar as a result of the victory. The vocalists of the song "Naatu Naatu," Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, presented a standout performance at the Oscar ceremony earlier today, and the audience couldn't get enough of it. They received a standing ovation for the performance.

Importantly, earlier this month, "Naatu Naatu" received the Golden Globe for best song. RRR became the first Indian film to win a Golden Globe as a result of the victory. The song's words were written by Chandrabose, with music by MM Keeravaani, and it was performed by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

RRR tells a fictional story that takes place in the 1920s while drawing influence from the lives of independence heroes Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson are among the ensemble cast members of the movie.

It should be mentioned that the 2008 British film Slumdog Millionaire's song "Jai Ho," written by Gulzar and composed by AR Rahman, became the first Hindi song to win an Oscar Award for Best Original Song and Best Original Score.
