Erica Herman, Tiger Woods Ex-girlfriend, Asks A Florida Court To Void The Confidentiality Agreement

A nondisclosure agreement that Erica Herman signed while having a personal and professional relationship with the 15-time major champion is allegedly being used by a trust under the management of Tiger Woods to silence her.

According to online court documents, Erica Herman's attorneys submitted a case on Monday in Martin County, Florida's circuit court asking for a declaratory ruling. According to the complaint, the pair had been residing in the neighbourhood together. North of Palm Beach County is the county of Martin.

Herman and Woods started dating in 2017, although they haven't made any official announcements about it. She had frequently been spotted with him at big competitions, including the 2019 Masters, which he won to earn his 15th major, and the Presidents Cup in Australia later that year.

She, however, was not there at either the Genesis Invitational he staged at the Riviera three weeks ago or the Hero World Challenge he held in the Bahamas the first week of December.

A nondisclosure agreement that Herman signed while having a personal and professional relationship with the 47-year-old is allegedly being used by a trust under Woods' management to silence Herman.

According to the complaint, the NDA should not be enforced because of a federal law that forbids it where there has been sexual assault or sexual harassment.

Before, Herman was employed by Woods' Jupiter restaurant.

The complaint makes no specific accusations against Woods or outlines what information Herman would want to reveal.

According to the complaint, Herman is unsure if she can disclose "information giving rise to numerous legal claims she feels she has" due to her "active usage" of the NDA. She also expresses uncertainty regarding the other details of her personal life that she can reveal and with whom.

A phone call and text message from The Associated Press seeking comment were not immediately returned by Woods' manager at Excel Sports Management, Mark Steinberg.
