HSLC 2023: Assam Board SEBA Cancels English Paper Exam 2023
The English paper of the Assam HSLC Test 2023 has been cancelled by the Assam Board of Secondary Education. The state's March 3, 2023, saw the administration of the Assam HSLC Test 2023 Cancelled for English Paper. Ranoj Pegu, the Assam Education Minister, posted the SEBA, Assam, notification on his official Twitter account. According to a notification from SEBA, the English paper test for Class 10 that was scheduled to take place on March 3, 2023, has been cancelled after the board learned from the district officials that certain students from Ganir Gram Kendra, the upper secondary school, utilised unethical means to take the test. The board has asked applicants, examiners, inspectors, and parents to work together to ensure a smooth examination process in this respect. without breaking the laws and regulations of the exams in the next days. The letter further mentions that reports have been requested from the relevant district authorities after SEBA Assam received verbal complaints from other exam centres. The Board has issued a warning that it will take stern action against any testing site or applicant who obtains unfavourable reports during the remaining testing days after receiving this information.Once it was discovered that the question paper had reportedly been leaked from a school in the Cachar region, the board also decided to cancel the HSLC mathematics exam. After the question paper leak, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, allegedly called SEBA secretary Naranyaran Nath into a meeting.
