Lakers D'Angelo Russell Sprains Ankle, To Be Reevaluated Friday
Russell, the starting point guard for the Lakers, had a poor start to his team's first game following the All-Star break. Literally. Ussell stated that he was "not concerned" about the injury and left up the possibility of participating in the Lakers' upcoming match in Dallas on Sunday. Donte DiVincenzo, a Warriors guard, was standing out of bounds when Russell, who was stepping backward to inbound the ball beneath the hoop, unintentionally trod on his foot.Russell subsequently said, "Wrong place, certainly wrong time."
