NIOS launches 'Aarambhika' course in World Hindi Conference

At the opening session of the International Hindi Conference, which takes place in Fiji from February 15–17, 2023, the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) announced the introduction of the "Arambhika" course. According to NIOS, the course was introduced by Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, and Ratu Williame Myvalili Katonivere, President of Fiji. Aarambhika, which was created under the direction of NIOS Chairman Prof. Saroj Sharma, would be helpful for everyone who wants to study Hindi and whose first language or native tongue is not Hindi, it was noted. According to NIOS, this course will enable students to communicate informally in Hindi in a variety of contexts and introduce them to Indian culture and ethos. NIOS, an independent organisation within the Ministry of Education of the Government of India, provides open and remote learning options for academic, vocational, and life enrichment courses.
