Candidates from Tamil Nadu applying for the CUET UG 2023 have received a crucial notification from the National Testing Agency (NTA). Applicants can see the official announcement on the NTA CUET website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
According to the official notification, the agency has received a few complaints from Tamilnadu State Board students who took their Class 10 exams in 2021. No tests were given to the Class 10 cohort of 2021 due to the COVID pandemic. As a result, there are no marks on the marksheet, and "pass" is written next to each topic. In this respect, the agency has determined that for applicants who have finished their Class 10 in the year 2021 and have chosen to take the Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination, the Outcome Mode field would be disabled and the corresponding fields for marks and CGPA will be invisible.
Candidates who have already submitted an application with 2021 as the passing year and Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) as the school board and paid the fee will be subject to the same rule, which states that the fields Total Marks, Obtained Marks, and Percentage of Marks will remain hidden in the online application and that the field Result Mode will be disabled. The fields Total Marks, Obtained Marks, and Percentage of Marks in the online application form for CUET (UG)-2023 will remain invisible, and the field Result Mode will be disabled for candidates who have already filled out the application with the passing year as 2021 and the school board as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) and paid the fee.
