The newest device in the X series lineup from Nokia was introduced on Wednesday in India. In September of last year, the device was initially revealed in a few European regions. With a frame made of recycled aluminium and a back made of recycled plastic, the Nokia X30 5G is marketed as HMD Global's most environmentally friendly smartphone to date. It sports a 50-megapixel dual-rear camera configuration with an internal Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. A 4,200mAh battery powering the Nokia X30 5G is supposed to provide up to two days of battery life on a single charge and enable 33W rapid charging. Three years' worth of Android and security upgrades will be provided to the Nokia X30 5G, it has been announced.

The Nokia X30 5G's cost and availability in India

The cost of the only 8GB + 256GB storage model of the Nokia X30 5G in India is fixed at Rs. 48,999. There is no information on how long the initial offer will last, and this pricing is a special launch price. It is available in colours of icy white and hazy blue. Currently, it can be pre-ordered on Amazon and the Nokia India website. The auction will start on February 20. Nokia is giving customers who make purchases through the business website a Rs. 1,000 discount as an introductory incentive. Along with the phone, it is giving away complimentary Nokia Comfort headphones worth Rs. 2,799 and a 33-watt charger worth Rs. Options for no-fee EMIs begin at Rs.4,084  monthly.

Nokia X30 5G specifications

The firm promises three OS upgrades and three years of recurring security updates for the Nokia X30 5G, which runs Android 12. The display is a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 700 nits. Additionally, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is included on the display. It has an 8GB RAM configuration and a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC as its power source. The phone is advertised as having an environmentally friendly construction, with a frame made of 100% recycled aluminium and a back made of 65% recycled plastic. A 50-megapixel PureView OIS primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle secondary sensor make up the Nokia X30 5G's dual-rear camera configuration.The rear camera unit features a Corning Gorilla Glass layer and offers a variety of shooting settings, including Night Selfie, Tripod Mode, Dark Vision, Night Mode 2.0, and AI Portrait. There is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. 256GB of inbuilt storage are available.

The Nokia X30 5G has a USB Type-C connector, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax-ready, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, and Beidou connectivity options. A fingerprint sensor built into the display is also included. Additionally water-resistant to IP67 standards is the Nokia X30 5G. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. A 4,200 mAh battery with 33 W rapid charging capabilities powers the Nokia X30 5G. On a single charge, the battery is said to provide up to two days of battery life. Additionally, the phone weighs roughly 185 grammes and has dimensions of 158.9x73.9x7.99mm.
