Al Fateh vs Al Nassr final score, highlights and analysis, as Cristiano Ronaldo penalty rescues point

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first Saudi Pro League goal from the penalty spot in stoppage time to rescue a 2-2 draw for Al Nassr against Al Fateh. Al Nassr fell behind twice, and Ronaldo wasted a few excellent opportunities before maintaining his composure during a tumultuous finish at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium, where his striking partner Anderson Talisca was dismissed.A fantastic volley by Cristian Tello to commemorate his Al Fateh debut was sensationally surpassed by teammate Sofian Bendebka just before the hour.A stamping tackle from Talisca following Ronaldo's late leveller that was upgraded to red by VAR wrecked his performance. Talisca had scored his 13th goal of the season to guarantee that it was all square at halftime.

Goals:

  • TALISCA—AL NASSR—42nd minute
  • AL FATEH—SOFIANE BENDEBKA—59th minute

Tello finished from 25 yards after fellow rookie Agustin Rossi made a mistake in the Al Nassr goal.Ronaldo mistook Talisca's ball for a goal in the 24th minute but was correctly called offside. After a Talisca attempt was deflected against the post, he then blasted over the open goal. When the Brazilian striker equalised Al Nassr with a first-time effort off of Ghislain Konan's cross, it seemed inevitable. Ronaldo's shot off the crossbar ended the first half.Al Nassr had the initiative to start the second half, but Bendebka showed flashes of brilliance by latching onto a hopeful long ball and drilling a volley into the back of the net.Al Fateh initially appeared to be able to hold their own, but a tense conclusion to the game caused them to lose their composure, most notably when Ali Salah Al-Jassem collided with fellow replacement Jaloliddin Masharipov and Ronaldo scored.

Who plays with Cristiano Ronaldo up front for Al Nassr?

Talisca's upcoming suspension will hurt badly if Ronaldo takes some time to adjust to Saudi Arabia. The former Under-23 representative for Brazil is in excellent form, and he brought Al Nassr back into the match by driving the team's finest play both before and after scoring his 13th goal of the year. There were a few tantalising signs as to what Ronaldo's pairing with Talisca may offer if he serves his suspension for losing control during the game's frantic finish.

Al Fateh vs. Al Nassr lineups and Saudi Pro League highlights

Full Time: BA tense conclusion leaves everything even. Unexpectedly, Al Fateh's first draw of the campaign occurs in game fifteen. Thanks to Ronaldo's late penalty, Al Nassr now leads on goal differential. Rudi Garcia should be informed since he is currently enraged over something or other. It most likely had something to do with Talisca's red card.

90 minutes plus five: RED CARD!Talisca's glittering performance comes to an end when he gets dismissed. He was initially scheduled for a stamping competition, but after evaluation, it was raised to red. a bit severe!

90 minutes plus two seconds: GO! CRISTIAN RODRIGUEZ!

Oh, okay. Talisca appeared to be prepared to accept that before Ronaldo pulled the trigger on a careless spot kick that smashed into the centre. He takes hold of the ball and sprints back to the goal circle. Al Nassr desires a victor. The referee was left with little option after Ali Salah Al-Jassem, a substitute, stumbled carelessly into Masharipov and earned himself a penalty.

90th minute: Al Nassr is given a penalty!

89th minute : Ronaldo begins to act foolishly out of frustration. The seasoned attacker brings the Al Fateh defender to his feet after colliding with Al-Daheem. Following a little bit of a large commotion, both Ronaldo and Al-Daheem receive bookings.

87th second: Near! Talisca pivots and volleys the ball toward the far post. Rinne once more rises to the occasion with a brilliant reaction stop.

84th-minute : Nawaf Boushal is the substitution made by Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia, who is looking more and more agitated from the sidelines. Any equaliser at this moment would feel like a bolt from the blue since his team is disorganised and Ronaldo is playing on the fringes.

76th minute : Al Nassr's Jaloliddin Masharipov chisels in a cross from the left.On the end of a bouncing ball, Talisca makes an audacious overhead kick, but the attempt slips harmlessly wide.

72nd minute : Tello is leaving the field to a standing ovation. Will he have played a role in a well-known victory?

71st minute : Ronaldo makes a deep run to try to ignite the game. Saadane, the captain of Al Fateh, flies in for a solid but legal hit. When Ronaldo is knocked to the ground, Saadane's views are briefly revealed to him.

69th minute : Rossi must maintain his composure to stop Al-Buraikan since Al Nassr is leaving themselves more and more vulnerable to the break.

65th minute: Similar to when Al Fateh took the lead in the first half, Al Nassr's comeback has been worrisomely lacklustre. Ronaldo sprints off to secure a corner.

59 seconds left: GOOOAAALLLL! Viva Sofiane Bendebka!

With Al Nassr in the lead, there had been a little gap in the action, but my gosh, what a stroke from Bendekba! The striker received a pass from deep and seemed to be in little danger as he rifled an unstoppable shot past Rossi and into the roof of the goal.

48th minute : Ronaldo escapes down the inside right channel and stands up a beautiful cross for Talisca. However, the Brazilian completely botches up his header, causing the ball to loop over.

46th minute : play has resumed. Al Nassr, is there a way to get to the top of the table?

Half Time :After Tello's stunning goal, Al Nassr was back on speaking terms at the interval. As he makes his way away, Ronaldo does not appear to be in a good mood.

45th minute plus two : Ronaldo receives the ball but he shoots over the bar! Al Nassr end the half in the same manner that they started it (they'll want to forget the half-hour in between where they were completely dreadful), but Ronaldo's goal will not be scored.

45:01: Luiz Gustavo absolutely smashes into a midfield tackle. He releases Ghareeb, who then attempts to shoot at Rinne. Ronaldo is enraged and was yelling for a pass.

42nd second: GOOOOAAALLLL! Talisca!!!

That is a masterfully executed equaliser, and Talisca, who has so far been the shining star for Al Nasser, scores his 13th goal of the year. Left-back Konan received a ball that Ghareeb stretched wide, and he cut back a low cross that the Brazilian deftly drilled home the first time.

40th  minute: Al Nassr's right back Al-Ghannam flicks the ball in the direction of Ronaldo, but Rinne heroically steps out to swat it away.

36th minute: Ronaldo has to perform better. Much improved! Talisca's attempt is superbly stopped by Rinne, who makes the save low to his left and on the base of the post. The first to respond is CR7, but he exhausts himself.

34th minute: Tello once more threatens by cutting inside from the left. Al Nassr brings a few guys forward to prevent his final attempt.

32nd minute:Tello has another opportunity, but his effort misses the mark.

Al Fateh had been far ahead since scoring in the 30th minute. The flanks are being pushed down by Al-Buraikan and Al-Khulaif, while Al Nassr seems exposed to diagonal balls.

26th minute: Luiz Gustavo carelessly concedes a free kick. Rossi was forced to scramble as Bendebka's magnificent shot missed by a hair.

Bendebka comparable to Beckham?

24th minute: "Goooooo...no!" :  Ronaldo believed that was the perfect time. Talisca sends a beautiful flick pass towards the corner. Ronaldo brilliantly manipulates the ball on his chest before moving it to his left foot and drilling it through the post. He is shocked to see the offside flag as he glances up. Replays revealed that it wasn't even very close.

21-minute: "Nah, that's worthless." It is blown against the wall by Ronaldo. By locating a cross for the number seven, who heads off-target, Talisca continues the attack.

20th minute: Ronaldo is about to take a 35-yard free kick. This seems like a bit of a stretch, even for him.

17th minute: Al Nassr's heads are still reeling from their loss. Particularly disorganised and carelessly giving away a corner is Rossi.

12th minute: Go, go, go! Cristian Tello, please

Against all odds, Tello, a former kid of Barcelona, scores with a screamer.

It's also a terrible moment for another rookie, Rossi in the Al Nassr goal, who makes a weak punch in response to a right cross. Tello receives the ball after it loops, and he scores with a lavish 25-yard volley.

10th minute : Rinnie, the goalie for Al Fateh, has a tricky situation  when he attempts to pass out from the back. When Ronaldo is around, Al Nassr is unable to profit.

7th minute : Al Nassr had undoubtedly had a better start.  After passing the ball to Luiz Gustavo on the field, Ronaldo dashes out to get a return pass. The Brazilian midfielder attempts a long-range shot from 30 yards away if doesn't come.

4th minute : lisca, who has recently been Al Nassr's danger man, finds some space down the left but fumbles the cross, which sails out for a goal kick.

2nd  minute: Ronaldo almost got off to a quick start, but he was correctly called back for offside.

5 minutes:  before start, both sides are prepared. Ronaldo presents a professional image. He must be included in the score today, right?

15 minutes: Agustin Rossi, who joined Al Nassr on loan from Boca Juniors, will start in goal for the team today 15 minutes before kickoff. After breaking his elbow, David Ospina is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time, pushing Rudi Garcia back to the trade market.

45 minutes: before kickoff: Talisca scored in each of Al Nassr's victory over Al Fateh last year, 2-1 and 1-0, respectively. Both of those games had red cards, which seems to indicate that there is some animosity between the teams. Today could see a few pyrotechnics.

90 minutes:  before the game: As was to be expected, Ronaldo has been the subject of much discussion in the days leading up to this game, but according to his coach, Europe hasn't yet seen the last of the 37-year-old.

As he spreads out defenders, Cristiano Ronaldo is a useful addition, according to Rudi Garcia, who made the statement in late January. He is one of the world's top players. He will go back to Europe rather than end his career at Al Nassr. We've looked at the various teams Ronaldo may join once his two-year deal with Al Nassr expires.
