NTA JEE Main session 1: Application correction window reopens

Candidates may alter the state code of eligibility and category in the JEE Main 2023 session 1 application correction window once NTA reopened it. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 1 application correction window has been reopened by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for changing the state code of eligibility and category in the online application form for JEE Main 2023 session 1. Candidates have until February 5 to make changes to their applications on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.According to the official website, "National Testing Agency has received a few submissions from applicants demanding that they be permitted to change or modify their state code of eligibility and category in the online application form of JEE (Main) - 2023 Session 1."According to the NTA's notice, the state code of eligibility is the code of the state from which the applicant is taking or has already passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination, enabling them to sit for the JEE (Main) 2023 and be admitted to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.The state code of eligibility is independent of the candidate's place of birth, current location, or place of residency, according to the JEE Main notice.The notification also said, "It is crucial to note that the state code of eligibility does not depend upon the candidate's place of birth, permanent address, or place of residence.The deadline for the candidates to make corrections is February 5, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. JEE (Main) - 2023 Session 1
