The elephant devouring street food sparked the curiosity of netizens.

'Pani puri' is an all-time favourite street meal of Indians that may be found in every corner of the nation under various names. Passers-by can't stop themselves from chewing into the crunchy, acidic snack combined with flavoured water. While most people enjoy the street cuisine known as 'puchke,' 'gol gappe,' or 'patashe,' an elephant's experimenting with the snack has gone viral.

An elephant is shown in a video released by Indian Police Service officer Dipanshu Kabra savouring many 'pani puris' one after the other. A guy is shown sitting atop the elephant while the street vendor fills the circular hollow puri with onion, potato, and flavoured water, and the pachyderm munches on it with its trunk. The animal is seen eating 'pani puri' without hesitation one after the other. People may be heard giggling in the background at the elephant's performance.

"Everyone adores #PaniPuri," Kabra wrote beside the video. The video has received over 52,000 views on Twitter since it was shared on Wednesday.

The elephant devouring street food piqued the interest of internet users. "Why not elephant haha," one person suggested. "Wow, one of the best nd lifetime moments," another user said. "Increase the size of puri as per consumer demands," a third user suggested.

Elephant videos with strange behaviours frequently become viral. In a recent video, an elephant was spotted chewing what seemed to be a plastic bag in the Nilgiri hills. Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service officer who uploaded the video, cautioned viewers to be mindful while disposing of single-use plastic.
