Murali Vijay, a seasoned India opener, announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on Monday. In order to pursue "new chances in the realm of cricket and the business side of it," veteran India opener Murali Vijay announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on Monday. It was an honour to represent India at the greatest level of sport, making my trip from 2002 to 2018 the happiest years of my life. I am appreciative of the opportunity provided to me by the Chennai Super Kings, Chemplast Sanmar, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA)."
