SERIE A LINE UPS JUVENTUS VS MONZA
Whatever happens in Wednesday afternoon's encounter between Juventus and Monza at the Allianz Stadium, there will probably be a few reasons to celebrate.The expectation is that Juve's victory will add to that total.Paul Pogba and Dusan Vlahovic will both be making their long-awaited comebacks to the field in this encounter against Monza, as Juve manager Max Allegri stated in his pre-match conference. Despite Allegri's claim that neither of them has the stamina to play from the first whistle, they will both virtually probably be substitutes.It will be Pogba's first official football appearance in the Juventus shirt since the spring of 2016, just before his then-record transfer to Manchester United.Vlahovic will be playing in a competitive game for the first time since the infamous Champions League disaster against Benfica. (Yeah, let's avoid going there once more.)But given how recent events have played out, both on and off the field, Juventus will receive a tremendous lift from having two of its finest players return. Juventus not only needs points, but it also needs those points quickly and in a way that Allegri's team can rip apart another team.long winning streak that can propel them up the standings in a way that, at the absolute least, makes a European spot conceivable.No matter how Pogba and Vlahovic perform on the pitch, this season, which has been abruptly interrupted by a 15-point punishment, will be a huge disappointment if it doesn't.
