Rohit Suri to retire as President and MD at Jaguar Land

On March 31, Rohit Suri will vacate his position as president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover. Rohit Suri, the company's president and managing director of its Indian operations, has announced his retirement from Jaguar Land Rover, a luxury automotive and sports car manufacturer. On March 31, 2023, Suri, who has worked for the corporation for roughly 14 years, will leave all of her posts.

According to Martin Limpert, the Overseas Regional Director for,Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), Suri led from the front and was instrumental in developing the flagship brand in India while placing a strong emphasis on customer centricity, financial stability, and brand strength, according to PTI.

Through 25 authorised stores spread throughout 21 cities, JLR, which is supported by Tata Motors, builds and manufactures automobiles.

With the Chery Jaguar Land Rover China joint venture excluded, the business reported wholesale volumes of 79,591 units in Q3Y23, an increase of 5.7% sequentially and 15% annually. Chip supply were gradually improved by the corporation.

Tata Motors Limited, a division of Tata Sons, owns Jaguar Land Rover entirely. Through agreed, scientifically based objectives, the corporation has established a path to reduce emissions throughout its activities and value chains by 2030.

This approach places a strong emphasis on electrification, and by the end of the decade, each of its Range Rover, Discovery, and Defender collections will have a fully electric vehicle, while Jaguar will be powered exclusively by electricity.
