Sri Lanka Cricket is requesting a report on the teams' 317-run defeat to India in the third ODI within five days.

The manager of the men's national team was given instructions by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Monday to produce a report about the team's devastating 317-run defeat to India in the third and final ODI on Sunday in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. "Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has ordered the national team management to produce a report about Sri Lanka's significant loss to India in the third One-Day International, played on January 15, 2023, in Thiruvananthapuram," according to a statement from the nation's sport's regulatory organisation.

The statement said, "The report should include the captain's, the head coach's, the selection committee's, and the team manager's opinions about the defeat.

The squad manager has been given five days to produce the report as per SLC's requirement.
