Nepal plane crash Air crash in Pokhara kills 68

In Nepal, an aircraft crashed. 68 people perish in an aircraft crash in Pokhara. On board were five Indians.

According to authorities, four bodies have not yet been found.

Civil aviation officials in Kathmandu have verified that 68 people were murdered on Sunday when the plane they were in crashed just before landing at Pokhara International Airport in Nepal. At least fifteen foreigners were among the 72 passengers and four staff members travelling on the Yeti Airlines flight. Four bodies, according to the authorities, have not yet been found.

The Indian nationals on board the tragic aircraft were Sanjay Jaiswal, Sonu Jaiswal, Anil Kumar Rajbhar, Abhishek Kushwaha, and Vishal Sharma, according to information released by the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority. Aside from that, there were also five Russians, two Koreans, and one each of an Australian, an Argentinian, an Irish, and a French citizen.

Soon after the plane crashed on the runway of Pokhara's brand-new international airport, Rachana arrived at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. The aeroplane was seen leaning to the left as it reached the ground and crashed with a loud thud in images captured by local neighbours.

"Our sympathies are with the afflicted families," External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said in a statement following the catastrophe. "I sincerely pained on hearing about the plane incident in Pokhara, Nepal."

Five Indians were aboard the wrecked plane, according to the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, which also provided the public with hotline numbers.
