With the post-apocalyptic thriller premiering tonight (January 15) in the US and the UK, the much awaited The Last of Us TV series has finally made it to our screens. 

The Last of Us follows Joel, a grizzled survivor recruited to accompany 14-year-old Ellie across a perilous, dystopian United States 20 years after modern society has been destroyed.

The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal and Game of Thrones' Bella Ramsey play Joel and Ellie, respectively, in The Last of Us, a video game adaptation of the same name developed by Naughty Dog and published in 2013. The first episode of The Last of Us will debut on HBO and HBO Max in the US on Sunday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET. It will also be simulcast in the UK at the same time and air on Sky Atlantic in the early hours of Monday, January 16 at 2 a.m. GMT. The series will contain a total of nine episodes.

New episodes may be viewed on demand on Sky and streaming providers NOW after they have aired.
