In a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Saturday, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak highlighted Britain's desire to supply tanks and extra artillery support to Ukraine, according to Sunak's office.
According to a Sunak official, "they agreed on the necessity to embrace this opportunity with an escalation of global military and diplomatic assistance to Ukraine."
"The Prime Minister reiterated the UK's aim to further up its assistance to Ukraine, notably by supplying Challenger 2 tanks and other artillery systems."
