The future of India, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, is being driven by "yuva shakti" (young power), and as the country develops, the youth of the country will have plenty of chances. On the day of Swami Vivekananda's birth, Modi was addressing the gathering after kicking off the 26th National Youth Festival 2023 in Hubballi, Karnataka.

In honour of Vivekananda, Modi stated that the unity of India's awareness, which embodies the true meaning of "Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat," can be seen in his pan-Indian tours. He asserted that India is responding to this attitude by enacting new resolutions in Amrit Kaal.

The prime minister emphasised the value of young, saying they are India's future. "The nation must be built over the next 25 years." "Yuva Shakti's ambitions dictate the path of India, their goals decide the country's future, and their passion determines India's strength," he declared.

Modi also discussed India's accomplishments on a global scale. He said today that India has the fifth-largest economy in the world and that he wants to get it into the top three.

India is in the news worldwide for a variety of reasons, including toys, tourism, defence, and agriculture. "Global voices today claim that India will rule this century." It is the youth of India's century, he said.

According to Modi, "we need to be youthful with our thinking, active with our efforts, and panoramic in our view" to harness the strength of the young.

"The commitment of our Amrit generation is the reason the world looks to us for solutions," he continued.

The 26th National Youth Festival will be held at Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka, from January 12 to 16, and is being organised by the ministry of youth affairs and sports in partnership with the Karnataka government.

This year's celebration has the slogan "Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat."
