A "cold day to severe cold day" situation is anticipated in a number of locations in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttarakhand, according to the weather service. According to the IMD, isolated areas over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan "are expected to experience a cold wave."

- The IMD issued cold to severe cold day warnings on Tuesday for a number of locations in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and isolated sites over Uttarakhand. Isolated locations across Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan also received cold wave warnings.
