Elon Musk claims the success of Tesla and says, "Twitter to follow, science to question
The majority of social media users who participated in a poll over the Twitter CEO's departure supported it. He reportedly told Tesla employees not to worry about the "crazy stock market."
Musk declared that Twitter's new guidelines would be based on science, including the legitimate scepticism of science.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter and a multibillionaire, announced this in a tweet on Wednesday. Musk announced that the new Twitter policy will follow science, which also includes logically challenging science, without providing many details. Musk has been in the news for his social media activity ever since taking over the microblogging platform.
He stated in a tweet that the new Twitter policy was to "follow the science, which unavoidably includes reasoned questioning of the science." In a subsequent tweet, he claimed that no one could be considered a scientist if they believed that criticising science amounted to questioning it.
The majority of social media users who participated in a vote over the Twitter CEO's departure earlier in the day supported the idea. Then he said that he would only step down if he discovered a candidate who was "foolish enough to assume the post." He said that he would only be in charge of the server and software teams.
Tesla, Musk's EV manufacturing business, has also been affected by his idiosyncrasies. He recently cautioned the personnel of the business to avoid getting "bothered by stock market insanity." His comment was made in light of Tesla's share price falling by over 70% this year as a result of his preoccupation from operating Twitter and other issues, among them.
Tesla will eventually become the most valuable firm on the planet, according to Musk, who asserted this in an email to staff on Wednesday, according to Reuters. By the end of the current quarter, he further asked them to enhance delivery.
Don't let the irrational behaviour of the stock market disturb you too much, btw. The market will acknowledge our sustained superior performance when we exhibit it. I firmly believe that Tesla will be the most valuable company in the long run.
