The most expensive purchases for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL Auction 2023 included Rilee Rossouw (INR 4.6 crore), Manish Pandey (INR 2.4 crore), and Mukesh Kumar (INR 5.5 crore).

The Delhi Capitals, one of the most entertaining teams in recent history, bolstered their lineup in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction by making some wise purchases. In the auction, the Rishabh Pant-led team purchased untested Indian spinner Mukesh Kumar for Rs 5.50 crore, Phil Salt for Rs 2 crore, and Ishant Sharma for Rs 50 lakh. Another team that made wise decisions in its selections was Delhi Capitals. Mukesh Kumar, who played consistently for India A this season, was a net bowler with the team last year. In the later stages of the competition, he can be a solid Powerplay option because of his ability to pitch the ball up.

A few weeks before the T20 World Cup in Australia, Englishman Phil Salt, who had destroyed Pakistani spinners in a T20 away series, was unquestionably the best deal. At Rs. 2 crore, it couldn't have been better. Ishant Sharma is a nice buy at his basic price as well because he occasionally brings valuable experience.

At the very end of the auction, Delhi also secured the services of Rilee Rossow from South Africa. The franchise has strengthened its frail middle order with the addition of him and Manish Pandey.
