In Australia's domestic Twenty20 cricket league, the Big Bash League, the Sydney Thunder is a franchise professional cricket side. The Thunder are the replacement team for the New South Wales Blues, who competed in the former KFC Twenty20 Big Bash together with the Sydney Sixers. Sydney Showground Stadium serves as the team's home field.
