As Cristiano Ronaldo made a suggestion about ending his career as a professional footballer, Virat Kohli paid a touching homage to the Portuguese player, referring to him as "the best of all time."
Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the best players in football history, made a suggestion that he would stop playing for his country after Portugal was eliminated from the FIFA World Cup 2022 as a result of its quarterfinal loss to Morocco. Ronaldo has left the matter up for interpretation, even if he hasn't said whether he'll play for Portugal again or not. One of Ronaldo's greatest supporters, Virat Kohli, poured his heart out in a touching post honouring the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
"No trophy or any title can take anything away from what you've done in this sport and for sports fans around the world. No title can explain the impact you've had on people and what I and so many around the world feel when we watch you play. That's a gift from god.
"A real blessing to a man who plays his heart out every single time and is the epitome of hard work and dedication and a true inspiration for any sportsperson. You are for me the greatest of all time." Kohli wrote on Twitter.

Ronaldo declared on Sunday that "his dream was finished" after Portugal was eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar.
The largest and most ambitious ambition of my career was to win a World Cup for Portugal. Ronaldo posted on Instagram, "Fortunately, I won numerous trophies of an international scope, including one for Portugal.
In Portugal's final two games at the FIFA World Cup, the Round of 16 encounter against Switzerland and the quarterfinal match against Morocco, Ronaldo didn't even get off the bench. He is now trusting "time" to decide his future, believing that it would be "a good therapist."
And he said, "Let's hope that time will be a good counsellor and let everyone come to their own conclusions.
Ronaldo must be included as well.
Additionally, it should be mentioned that Ronaldo is now without a club after Manchester United terminated his contract.
