Police Suspect 'cannibalism' In A Murder And 'human Sacrifice' Case

The police in Kerala stated today that a couple who reportedly maimed and killed two women in a ritualistic "human sacrifice" to get rich quick may have eaten the flesh of their victims.

Roselin and Padma, the victims, were tied up and tormented before being strangled, according to authorities. The breasts of the women were severed, and the blood was allowed to run freely. According to the police chief, one of the bodies was sliced into 56 pieces. The human pieces were discovered in three pits.

Muhammad Shafi, the primary accused, is characterised as a "sexual deviant" and sadist who enticed the ladies to the home of Bhagaval Singh and his wife Laila. In a 2020 case involving a sexual attack on a 75-year-old lady, Shafi was free on bond.

Shafi allegedly promised the victims money in exchange for their participation in a pornographic video. At the same time, he "recommended" Bhagaval Singh and Laila to perform a human sacrifice in order to resolve their financial difficulties and become affluent, according to authorities.

"It's possible that the suspects ate body parts after murdering the victims. It is being investigated but has not yet been proven "Kochi police head CH Nagaraju stated.

Shafi, the primary accused in the case, "is a sexual deviant, a psychotic killer," Mr Nagaraju said, adding that the school dropout was hooked to sexual perversion and "delighted in cruelty."

Shafi strangled and decapitated Padma and sliced her corpse into 56 pieces, according to authorities.

Roselin was supposedly strangled and her breasts were severed by Laila.

According to the findings, one of the ladies was tortured with a knife.

Shafi is suspected of luring the ladies after contacting them over social media.
