He's also a fantastic shooter (48.0% from the field and 41% from three-point range).

If he continues to perform at this level (and the club does well), he might be a candidate for the 2023 MVP Award.

Last season, he guided the Grizzlies to the NBA's second-best record and to the second round of the playoffs.

As a result, they have very high hopes for this season (even though they are a young team).

The Grizzlies entered the night with a 9-5 record through 14 games, enough for fourth place in the Western Conference.
