Ja Morant's Incredible Dunk Is Going Viral
In Tuesday's game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans, Ja Morant made a spectacular dunk.
The Memphis Grizzlies play the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday evening in Louisiana.
Ja Morant, who was injured in the last game, has returned to the starting lineup and has looked outstanding.
The former second-overall selection slammed down an incredible dunk in the third quarter.
He swapped hands in mid-air and dunk with his left hand.
The All-Star guard has emerged as one of the game's most dynamic players, averaging 28.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game to begin the season.
He's also a fantastic shooter (48.0% from the field and 41% from three-point range).
If he continues to perform at this level (and the club does well), he might be a candidate for the 2023 MVP Award.
Last season, he guided the Grizzlies to the NBA's second-best record and to the second round of the playoffs.
As a result, they have very high hopes for this season (even though they are a young team).
The Grizzlies entered the night with a 9-5 record through 14 games, enough for fourth place in the Western Conference.
The Pelicans are 7-6 in their first 13 games and currently hold the eighth seed in the West.
Zion Williamson, the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft (one spot ahead of Morant), was ruled out due to a foot injury
