Urvashivo Rakshasivo is a film that has been in the works for quite some time. The film, starring Allu Sirish and Anu Emmanuel, was released today, so let's see how it goes.

Story:

Sree Kumar (Allu Sirish) is a straightforward and family-oriented software engineer who falls in love with Siri (Anu Emmanuel), a modern and career-oriented young lady. Sree works hard and manages to woo her. He offers marriage, but Siri suggests they live together. The rest of the narrative is about how a straightforward guy manages his live-in relationship while also dealing with his traditional family.

Plus Points:

The story's conflict appears to be engaging and relevant to today's age. The finest part is how director Rakesh handled this element and maintained the emotions in sync with the theme. Amani and Kedar Shankar, who play Sirish's parents, are excellent.

Anu Emmanuel portrays a terrible character, but she does an excellent job with it. Her glamorous appearance is one of the film's strongest elements. She has done well as a career-oriented young lady. Situational humour abounds in the film, and Vennela Kishore and Sunil do not disappoint. They, together with Sirish, maintain a lighthearted tone throughout the film.

The filmmaker has made certain that the picture is nicely filled with romance (not to mention the several lip locks), comedy, and ordinary family feelings, all of which are brought out till the finish. A moment in which Sirish shuffles between his house and his lover is amusing.

Last but not least, Allu Sirish has made tremendous strides as an actress. Sirish is given an excellent part that requires him to perform admirably. He has done an amazing job as a person caught between his family and a modern lover. He is strong at humour, and the filmmaker has emphasised that aspect brilliantly.

Minus Points:

The premise is straightforward and novel, but more emotional family moments might have improved everything. The necessary anguish in the love tale is not explored as much since comedy is prioritised.

The second half is filled with comedy, but the love tale lacks riveting drama. The fight between the main duo should have lasted longer to have a greater impact. The emotional aspect of the heroine should have been given more weight.

Technical Aspects:

Except for the breakup number, Achu's music and BGM were pretty fantastic, since the songs perfectly blended into the plot. Dialogues are amusing and have a strong impact. The production qualities are excellent, as are the images.

Rakesh, the director, has done an excellent job with the picture. Despite the fact that the film is a remake, he has successfully modified it for the Telugu audience. His narration is lighthearted, since he prioritised vital elements such as comedy, romance, and conflict without boring the listener. His narration is straightforward and to the point, as the film moves quickly and keeps the viewer engaged.

Verdict:

Overall, Urvashivo Rakshasivo is an urban romantic comedy that is skillfully structured. The main assets are good humour, romance, and pleasant family drama, which will be appreciated by the young. With the exception of a fairly predictable second half, this picture offers enough good moments for audiences to give it a go and enjoy the weekend.
