The SR, which is built on an award-winning steel trellis frame, is driven by the ZF 75-10 motor and is the first model to have a ZFORCE 14.4+ kWh power pack, which translates to increased torque and speed over prior incarnations. The SR is extraordinarily light (489 lbs) without a standard gas engine, yet it nevertheless performs, producing 74 horsepower and 122 lb-ft of torque. The bike also provides an intuitive and dynamic riding experience thanks to its sophisticated frame, unique swingarm, and Showa suspension.
Add on Cypher Store updates (software modifications unlock up to 17.3 kWh of battery capacity) and the extra 3.6 kWh Power Tank attachment, and the SR's total possible battery capacity rises to nearly 21 kWh, giving it a range of up to 227 miles. Of course, there's also lots of other useful technology: The SR is linked to cellular networks and delivers information such as bike status and alarms, charging information, and system upgrades directly to Zero's rider app.
