Details About Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

The Continental GT 650 is powered by a 648cc air and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that develops 47.6 PS at 7100 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5200 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch provides power to the back wheel through chain drive. Harris Performance created a brand-new dual-cradle frame for the chassis. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and dual gas-charged shock absorbers with preload adjustment at the back. The bike is held together by a single 320mm disc linked to a ByBre four-piston calliper up front and a single 240mm disc brake at the back. Dual-channel ABS is available right away. Continental Zoom Curve tyres have been fitted on the Continental GT 650 by Royal Enfield.

Features of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650

In terms of appearance and features, the Continental GT has clip-on handlebars that are somewhat higher than previously, a single seat with a race cowl, and blacked-out spoke wheels in true Cafe Racer form. The Continental GT 650's gasoline tank (12.5 litres) is less than that of its predecessor, the Continental GT 535, which had a 13.7 litre tank. In keeping with the classic style, the bike features a twin-pod analogue speedometer with a tiny digital display that holds readouts such as the odometer and two trip metres. The simplicity extends to the headlights, taillights, and turn indicators, which utilise ordinary bulbs rather than LEDs.
