The BS6-compliant fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine of the KTM 125 Duke BS6 produces 14.95 PS at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm at 8000 rpm. Surprisingly, there is no reduction in power or torque over the BS4-compliant version. A 6-speed gearbox is linked to the engine. The motorbike lacks a slipper clutch because it is a KTM for budget-conscious enthusiasts. The KTM 125 Duke BS6 has a trellis frame. It retains the BS4-compliant model's 43mm WP inverted front fork and WP rear monoshock. A 300mm front disc with a radial calliper and single-channel ABS and a 230mm rear disc perform braking duties.
The KTM 125 Duke BS6 has a similar design as the BS6-compliant KTM 200 Duke. The same crisp, mass-forward design language is used for the halogen headlight, LED tail light, and LED winkers. A beefy tyre and an underfloor exhaust compliment the elegant tail section. The exhaust tip is completed in black, as is the engine cowl, as opposed to the BS4-compliant version's orange, white, and black graphics.

The KTM 125 Duke BS6 comes standard with a comprehensive full-LCD instrument cluster. It displays, among other things, speed, tachometer readings, fuel level, clock, range, miles to empty, and average speed. The indicators and taillight are LED, however the headlight is halogen. In terms of safety, it has a single-channel ABS system.
